K's 7th Birthday

Well, I know its been a month since my first post. Things here have been very busy because K is still in school until August 17th. On July 10th K turned 7 years old, it was a quiet day here, we went out to John's Incredible Pizza for dinner so that we could decide if that was were we wanted to hold his party.
The kids in the picture are C from our Ward, K and A, K's cousin.

It is a great place, a huge building that has a regular size twister ride, bumper cars, bowling, a mini-roller coaster and games. Like Chuckie Cheese they have games that they can play for tickets, but instead of tokens they have little credit card type things that you swipe.

Unlike Chuckie Cheese, however, they have good food, buffet style. They have a salad bar, pasta bar, pizza bar and dessert bar.

So what we did is booked his party on a Wednesday at 3:00, it was perfect because it was a slow day for the restaurant. You spend the first hour and a half in a party room with the party planner. You get to eat and while the kids are eating she starts making balloon animals. Then they play games. The party planner makes the list of who gave him what, she also helped carry the presents and stuff to the car. Afterwards they go out on to the floor to play the games. It was a great time. He had 7 kids and five adults at the party. Kent, Jeannie, Evan, Robin and Nin'el, K, C.H., A.C, N.C, B.M, T.E. and M.E.

Sounds like a perfect place for a children's birthday party. Happy Birthday Keith!
